Howdy y'all! It's time again for some random cookies. Hooray. Today we have flowers, angelfish, baseball bats and balls. I made some dragonflies as well, but they were not very awesome so the interwebs will never see them. Aww. Also, I tried to make some doggies in the image of my sister's sweet girl dog Sage, but they too are not worthy. I will try again. Sage is an awesome and super cute boston terrier/chihuahua. She deserves to be honored in cookie form.
I love the smile on her face. I laughed for half an hour at work one day just from looking at this smile.
So, back to the cookies. I did some simple bats and baseballs, obviously to scale ;)

This is on mom's counter top. She said people would think it looked like the ground. I think it looks cool:
( This just reminded me of the fish tank I had in my room as a kid. The fish used to jump out and I would find them on the floor. I have recurring dreams about the floor of a room filled with fish bowls that are bubbling over with fish. The horror!)
Finally I made some flowers with a brush technique. It was my first time trying this style, but I think they came out pretty nice.
After I decorate my cookies, I have been using the left over icing to make candy buttons. I have buckets of buttons now. They came in handy though when I used them for the flower centers and the fish eyes.
This batch of cookies was particularly delicious. I have been eating too many cookies lately.
